He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Bauer and Margaret Pevornik Bauer; and his brothers, Robert W. Bauer, Jr. and Timothy Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Angelika; his daughters, Patricia Hettich (Darin) and Christine Fabin (Justin); his grandchildren, Tyler Hettich, Sarah Hettich and Abigail Fabin; his siblings, Ronald Bauer and Susan Bauer; his nephews, Bob and Nick; and his niece Amy.
