It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. McElroy of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, born in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William McElroy and Martha Elizabeth Snyder McElroy; and his brother David McElroy. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Carns McElroy; his children, Amy Dougan, Jim Clise of Scottdale and Jonathan McElroy (Jodi) of Youngwood; his grandchildren, David Dougan, Elizabeth McElroy and Sarah Dougan; and his siblings, Marybeth Wilson of Greensburg, Linda Hart of Harrisburg, William McElroy of Harrisburg and Donald McElroy (Patty) of Youngwood. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
