With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona L. Barkley-Cope (Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania), born in Herminie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 2, 2019 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Highberger and Elizabeth Beddick Highberger; her husband Robert H. Cope; her son Ronald W. Cope; and her former husband Ira Barkley.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda L. Domblesky (Bernard) of Greenville, SC and Robert P. Cope (Connie) of Mt Pleasant, PA; and her grandchildren, Michelle Milburn (Jon), Kristen Wintenberg (Robert) of Greenville, SC, Ellen Jackson (Joshua) of Gansevoort, NY and Natalie Cope (Corey Smith) of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren.
