He is survived by: his mother Marlene Wiltrout Shaffer of Mount Pleasant; his close friend Christina Landy; his son Kenny Landy of Mount Pleasant; his brother Bill Shaffer (Kelly) of Hunker; his niece Cara Shaffer; his nephew Brian Shaffer (Katelyn); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Briella and Beckham; and his pets, Wendy Sue and Smores.
