He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Karadus and Cecelia Popovich Karadus; and his siblings, Mary, Judy, Jackie, Charles and Dolly.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kovacs Karadus; his children, Kimberly Thomas (Randy) and Joseph W. Karadus (Joanne); his grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas (Jeff), Garrett Thomas (Sarah) and Joseph C. Karadus (Allison); his great grandchild Joseph Karadus; and his brother Stephen "Pip" Karadus (Audrey).
