He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Richards Sr. John; and his brother Herbert Richards. He is survived by: his children, Gladys Braunschweiger (Charles) of Arizona, Joan L. Malotka (Kent) of Kissimmee, FL, John David Richards of Orlando, FL, Jill M. Kresky (Chris) of Knoxville, TN and Jane L. Richards of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Anna Libertinism, Joey Hillebert, Brandon Baum (Morgan), Kendra Malotka, Elmer Baum (Erica), Morgan Richards and Michael Baum; and his siblings, Frances Savage of Baltimore, MD and Thomas Richards of Dundalk, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for John will be private in the funeral home, with Chaplain Don Hezlep officiating. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time during visitation hours. We respectfully request your adherence to all current medical guidelines, including wearing a mask and social distancing, as well as your understanding as we maintain occupancy limits.
