She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zundel and Martha Kuhn Zundel. She is survived by: her husband John J. Permuka, Jr.; her children, Wanda Permuka of Mt. Pleasant, Louise Ponko (Frank) of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Poorbaugh (Donald) of Mt. Pleasant, Richard Permuka (Michelle) of Mt. Pleasant and John Permuka (Donna) of RuffsDale; her stepgrandsons, Brandon (Marissa) and Wade Williams (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Brantley and Bristol Poorbaugh; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Michael, Baylee, Mayson, Merik and Brooklyn Williams; her brother Ernest R. Zundel (Marietta); and her siblings-in-law, Alberta Mates and John Vrable.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 822 West Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666, in memory of Joan (Zundel) Permuka.
