He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Queer and Opal Porch Queer Scherer; and his siblings, Elmer Scherer and Connie DeArmit. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sirgey Queer; his children, Jim Queer (Kelly Galla), Shery Queer and Tami Tabich (Carl); and his siblings, Ruth Scherer, Tressa Cesario, Dennis Scherer and David Scherer. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc. (204 Eagle St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Greenlick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
