He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirchner and Ethel Kirchner (Casey); his brother Neil Kirchner; and his son Gene M. Kirchner. He is survived by: his children, Charles Kirchner (Julie) of Scottdale, William Kirchner of Reisterstown, MD. and Robin Franke (Arthur); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Brock, Grant, Cali Kirchner and Sam Franke.
