He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Ansell of Missouri; and his brothers, Jesse Owen Ansell (Kathy) of Connellsville, John Ansell of Harrisonburg, Harvey Ansell of Scottdale and Charles Ansell (Mary) of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
