She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Kurpiel and Catherine Frydrych Kurpiel; her husband Joseph A. Smithula; and her siblings, Frank, Joseph, Stanley, Adam Kurpiel and Claire M. Kurpiel.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Frank Smithula (Mary Jo) of Monroeville and Kathryn Colonna (Alan) of Greensburg. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren.
Being mindful of the current medical guidelines for Covid 19, there will be no hours of public visitation.
