It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar L. Hixson (Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edgar and Lula Hixson Edgar; his wife Sophie; his son Kenneth; his siblings, Betty Jane, Genevieve Hixson, Floyd Hixson, Margret Shogun and Emma Morvosh; and his stepbrother William Saylor.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hixson (Dolores) of Hunker, Charles Hixson of New Stanton and Ruth Ann Bambach (Rege) of Youngwood; his daughter-in-law Kathy Hixson; his grandchildren, Phylicia Hixson, Nathan Hixson (Hannah), Jackie Hixson, Heather Kinmond (Ben), Jennifer Koteski (Wesley) and Amanda Hixson; and his great grandchildren, Holden, Arlin Hixson, Lincoln and Anika Koteski.
