He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sebek Shumar; his daughters, Amanda Geer (Chris), Alesha Kincaid (Eric) and Allison Shumar (Chris); his grandchildren, Amaris, Greyson Geer, Graham and Amelia Kincaid; his pet Sawyer; and his brothers, William Shumar Jr. (Juanita) and Craig Shumar.
