He was predeceased by: his parents, William, Sr. Shumar and Mary Ellen Plannett Shumar. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sebek Shumar; his daughters, Amanda Geer (Chris), Alesha Kincaid (Eric) and Allison Shumar (Chris); his grandchildren, Amaris, Greyson Geer, Graham and Amelia Kincaid; his pet Sawyer; and his brothers, William Shumar Jr. (Juanita) and Craig Shumar.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc. (204 Eagle St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
