She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Iwaniec and Josephine Fornal Iwaniec; her husband Matthew J. Potosky; her son Matthew A. Potosky; her son-in-law Sam Tessler; her grandson Samuel J. Tessler; and her siblings, Valeria, Edward Iwaniec, Joan Iwaniec, Margaret Krzanowski, Irene Fullman, Mary Jaworski and Sister Mary Loretta.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Schmucker (Alfred C.) of Mt. Pleasant, Marlene Tessler of Youngwood and Loretta J. Palmer (Arnold Jr.) of Laurelville, OH; her grandchildren, Donna Mcnamara (Gerald), Heather Schmucker (Lisa Freeman), Matthew Potosky, Thomas Potosky, AJ Schmucker, Justin Tessler (Laura), Amelia Palmer and Lucas Palmer; her sister Marcina Pawlikowski of Mt. Pleasant; and her friend Gladys Kazousky. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
