She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Connors and Frances M. Connors (Bandemer); and her husband Andrew J. "Andy" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Michele Werder (Fritz) of Lititz, PA, Jeffrey Smith (Samantha) of Brookline, PA and Brian Smith of Scottdale, PA.; her grandchildren, Brittany McCormack of Scottdale, PA, Riley Smith of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Teressa Smith of Mt. Pleasant, PA and Cameron Werder of Lititz, PA.; her great grandchild Logan Valle of Scottdale, PA.; her sister Darlene Daniels of Mt. Pleasant, PA; her siblings-in-law, Peg Miller Connors of Connellsville, PA, Joseph Garsteck of Mt. Pleasant, PA and Joseph Prudente of Parrish, FL.; her in-laws, John J. Smith (Susan) of Bordentown, NJ and Nancy Smith (Keith Firestone) of Connellsville, PA.; her siblings, Roberta Connors Garsteck, Barbara "Babs" Connors Prudente, Dennis Connors and Vincent Connors; her brother-in-law Kenneth Daniels; her nephew Brook Garsteck; and her parents-in-law, John J. and Sarah "Sally" White Smith.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist R. C. Church (416 S Broadway St, Scottdale, PA 15683). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests that with gratitude, memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org) or ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org) organizations in her memory.
