He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Beranek and Helen Brown Beranek; his daughter Cindy Beranek; his grandson Dale Younkin; and his brothers, Infant Albert Beranek, William Beranek and John "Jack" Beranek.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Bellush Beranek; his sons, James D. Beranek (Debbie) of Mt. Pleasant, Mark A. Beranek of Mt. Pleasant and Donald Beranek (Leanna) of Connellsville; his grandchildren, Jason Beranek, Jacqueline Lyle (Derek), Michael Rietski and Nicole Young (Justin); his great grandchildren, Nina Lyle, Vincent Lyle and Justine Young; and his sister Maxine Shebeck (Robert) of Greensburg.
Following the Covid-19 guidelines, only 25 people are permitted in the funeral home at one time. CDC guidelines for social distancing will be followed and face masks are required.
