He is survived by: his parents, Owen "Sonny" and Ruth Long (Whetzel); his wife Patricia Long (Coffman); his sons, Michael Long (Tracey) of Ruffsdale and David Long of Mt. Pleasant; his grandsons, Miles and Chase Long; and his sisters, Shirley Murtha (Frank) and Joanne Karadus (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
