It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel L. Szolek of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Szolek and Cecelia Szolek (Miskinis); and his daughter Jennifer L. Szolek. He is survived by: his wife Darleene Szolek (Skemp) of Mt. Pleasant; his sons, John D. Szolek (Jennifer) of Poland, OH and Jeffrey S. Szolek (Stephanie) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Zackery, Kenzie and Kelly Szolek; and his sister Marla Siwula.
