She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Shaffer and Geraldine White Shaffer; her husband Frederick Hood; and her children, Christina Lee Polanofsky and Craig E. Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl L. Hall of Mt. Pleasant and Chad F. Hood of Yukon; her grandchildren, Tori Pritts, Tyler Hall and Ashley Minick; her great grandchildren, Aria, Teagan, Esra and Adalynn; and her siblings, Duane Shaffer (Debbie), Ed Shaffer (Carol), Walt Shaffer (Lindsay) and Brenda Reid.
