He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin B. Vance Sr. and Vera J. Vance (Lane); his former wife Kathy Vance (Poole); and his grandson Dakota Bash. He is survived by: his wife Stella L. Vance (Brown); his children, Adam B. Vance (Kelly) of Alverton, Joy Vance Davis (Matt) of Dawson, Janet Vance of Mt. Pleasant and Jennifer Vance of Dawson; and his grandchildren, Austin Vance (Brittany), Lane Vance, Brooke Vance, Kathy, Cheyenne Bash, Mason, Madison and Maddox Davis.
