He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome H. Leister and Mildred Leister (Kratzer); and his siblings, Lorraine Kantz and David Leister, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Leister (Haubert); his daughters, Pamela Kerstetter (Brian) of Mount Pleasant Mills and Crystal Crissman (Chantz) of Richfield; his sister-in-law Winnie Leister of Richfield; and his grandchildren, Bridget Swartz (Tyler), Paige Grove (Ethan), Mya Crissman, Jordan Brown (Tyler), Darian Bolig (Aaron), Bryce Kerstetter (James) and Caleb Kerstetter (Rebecca Harbaugh). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
