We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2023, at the age of 85, Russel W. Merkel (Mount Penn, Pennsylvania), born in West Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Russel Merkel and Violet Kreider (Kulp); and his brother Larry. He is survived by : his wife Elaine J. (Lorah); his sons, Gary L. (Sandra) of Temple and Keith W. (Peg) of Cumru; his grandchildren, Felicia, Lindsey, Kayla, Alex, Riley and Erin; his great grandchildren, Sage and Lily; and his sister Stacy (Jim Manning) of Leinhartsville.
