He was predeceased by: his spouse Thirza L. Strause (Roadarmel); and his parents, Elmer S. Strause and Mabel V. Strause (Gaul). He is survived by: his children, Paul R. Strause (Sherrie), Robert L. Strause (Bitsy), Gail L. Deckman (Bruce) and Janet A. Weidner (Ricky). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
