He was predeceased by : his parents, Heber A. Snyder and Bertha Snyder (Kercher). He is survived by : his wife Arlene J. Snyder of Lower Alsace; and his daughters, Debora Smith (James), Melinda Hinnershitz (Michael) and Jodi Weldele (Charles, Jr.). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
