She was predeceased by: her husband Edward DeFrees; her parents, Edward Laudenslager and Carrie Shawda; and her son John L. DeFrees. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald E. DeFrees of Reiffton and Brian A. DeFrees of Bryn Mawr. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
