We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2024, at the age of 78, Darrell N. Matz of Mount Penn, Pennsylvania, born in West Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nevin Matz and Sarah Matz (Groh). He is survived by : his wife Lisa S. Matz (Samans); his sister Phyllis M. Koch (Donald L. Koch) of Wernersville; his niece Iris K. Lis (Russell J. Lis) of Wernersville; his nephew Stuart A. Koch (Linda Koch) of Port Royal; and his great-nephew Nathan P. Lis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bean Funeral Homes- Sinking Spring (3825 Penn Ave, Reading, PA 19608). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
