He is survived by: his son Simon S. Hinton; his sister Leah M. Hinton of Erie; his stepsister Amy L. Donahugh of Bolivar; and his nieces and nephews, Austin Rodkey (Jacklynn Rodkey), Shawn Donahugh, Mary Leah Bollinger and Kali Bollinger.
