He was predeceased by: his parent William J.; and his sibling Doris Yochum. He is survived by: his parent Matilda Thurner (Kalb); his children, James Thurner (Mary), Judith Thurner, Linda Thurner, Cheryl Hays (Bill) and Donna McDonough (Dale); and his siblings, Claire Meixner, Marlene Fabus, Orville Thurner and Dale Thurner.
