He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Thomas DeWitt and Viola Marie Williams DeWitt; and his sisters, Pamela Kirby and Barbara Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ellen Goff DeWitt; his children, Tara DeWitt Gilchrist (Steve) of Mt. Morris, Karry Foster DeWitt (Becky) of Fairmont and Scott Cameron DeWitt (Misty) of Fairmont; and his grandchildren, Austen Levi DeWitt, Hunter Scott DeWitt and Bria Cantwell.
