He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kristi Knowles; his children, Rebecca Stoner, Samuel Thomas Knowles of Victoria, BC, Dylan Knowles, Maddie Knowles and Theo Knowles; his brother Greg Knowles; his nieces and nephews, Valerie Hedlin and Claire Knowles of Kamloops, BC; and his parents, Samuel D. Knowles and Lorraine Dornan.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Home (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
