It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Smith of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Katherine Kitchen (Smith); and his close friend Darlene Honeygosky. He is survived by: his nephew Edward James'Eddie' Kitchen (Linda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Edward Anthony, Courtney Lynn of John James, J. J. and Austin Christopher Kitchen (Kaileigh). He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
