Grace E. Schmitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 79, Grace E. Schmitt of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Schmitt; her parents, Henry Keil and Margaret Keil (Donnelly); and her siblings, Raymond, Dale Keil and Nancy Gaertner.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lois Kniss, Gerry Peters, Linda Prihillia (Robert) and Faith Chisman; her children, Bryan Shuttleworth, Elaine Grace Tagg (John) and Lynn Pechin (Brian); her grandchildren, Caitlin Pechin Butler (Brendan), Abigail Pechin, Erik Tagg and Maura Grace Pechin; her great grandchild Nora Butler; her nephew Joseph Fedorek (Lauren Bucci); and her great-nieces, Olivia Fedorek and Aleana Fedorek. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home (1065 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or any other cancer research organization of your choice.
