He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Longenecker and Barbara G. Wolgemuth Longenecker; and his siblings, Arthur, Earl, Ellen, Chester, Mildred, Lineaus, Samuel and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith Longenecker; his children, Tom Longenecker (Cyndi Leard Longenecker) of Derry Township and Kathy Longenecker Nornhold (Richard Nornhold) of Mount Joy; his grandchildren, Maura, Bella Longenecker, Anna, Seth and Liam Nornhold; and his sisters, Ethel Shelly of Manheim and Verdella Spickler of Mount Joy.
