He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob M. Brandt and Florence Brandt (Moyer); and his siblings, Jacob, Alvin Brandt and Erma Perri.

He is survived by: his stepsons, William E. Quickel (Sheryl), Barry L. Quickel and Donald L. Quickel (Rosemarie); and his grandchildren, William Jr., Jennifer, Barry Jr., Luke, Daniel Natalie and Dustin. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
