He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hallgren (Pritchett); his sons, Joshua Kirwin of Mount Joy, Andrew Kirwin of Mount Joy and Ben Hallgren of Mount Joy; his parents, Carl R. "Dick" of Mount Joy and Cheryll A. Hallgren (Brown) of Mount Joy; and his siblings, John Hallgren and Susan Hallgren. He is also survived by husband, father, and son.
