He was predeceased by: his parent Tobias Fry Herr; and his siblings, Harold Herr, Robert Herr, Edward Herr, Fred Herr, Norwood Herr and Mary Bell.
He is survived by: his spouse Miriam Werner Herr; his sister Elsie Mae Witmer; his son Jere; and his parent Elsie Munson Fenninger Herr.
