He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Funk and Ruth G. Funk (Haldeman); his wife Virginia D. Funk (Moss); his daughter Linda Funk; and his grandson Matthew Funk.
He is survived by: his son Adam C. Funk; his close friend Mikki Maxwell of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Ashley Winebarger of Mount Joy, Mark Funk of Mount Joy and Kirstin Funk of Elizabethtown; his great grandchildren, Zackery Winebarger, Kasey Coon and Lillianna Winebarger; and his siblings, Frank Funk and Malva Funk.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the GracePointe Church (4806 E Harrisburg Pike, Elizabethtown, PA 17022).
