He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Sr. Smeigh and Catherine D. Smeigh (Striebig); his wife Geraldine F. "Gerry" Smeigh (Keiser); his son Lynn E. Smeigh; and his siblings, Wayne, William Jr., Vernon and Mildred Smeigh.
He is survived by: his son Todd Smeigh; his daughter-in-law Dawn Smeigh (Splain) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Rachel Smeigh of Mount Joy, Nathan Smeigh of Elizabethtown and Kyle Spigelmeyer of Lititz; and his sister-in-law Portia Smith (James) of Roseboro. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and their children.
