We bid farewell to Joan D. Miller of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 7, 2024 at the age of 67. Joan D. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John F. Shrum and Marie Shrum (Shiflet); her husband Michael E. Miller; her children, Crystal F. Hemcher (Bryan) of Mount Joy and Michael R. Miller; her close friend Rhoda Enck of Marietta; her grandchildren, Tiffani Cardinale (Thersea), Alysa Hemcher, Courtney Hamilton, Briana Hamilton and Bryan Hemcher; her great grandchildren, Oliver Cardinale and Amera Stennett; and her siblings, Judy Arter (Don) of Mount Joy, Juanita Spong (Ken), Jackie Hess, Jana Hamilton (Jim) of Mount Joy, Johnny Shrum (Trudy) and Jimmy Shrum (Linda) of Elizabethtown. She was also cherished by her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
