Schompert (Mount Joy, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Mattis. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, James Schompert (Karen), Jeffrey Schompert (Caroline) and Terrie Van Zandt (Scott); and his grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Andrew, Nathan and Brian. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glossbrenner UMC.
