He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry S. Smith and Grace Naomi Myer Smith; and his sister Anna Mary Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Rollin J. Smith (Molly M. Adams) of Elizabethtown, Elyse D. Smith (Rick Pongrance) of York Co, Cristin J. Thompson (Alex) of Lancaster and Connor G. Smith (Paetyn Zeamer) of Manheim; his granddaughters, Bethany and Margot; his siblings, Henry C. Smith of Rockford, IL, John D. Smith of Rockford, IL and Esther M. Keyser (Edward A.) of Manheim; his brother-in-law Richard Thompson of Delaware; and also, J. D. Mulliken (Jennifer) of Lewisberry and Matthew Mulliken of Lancaster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
