He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Toews and Susanna Toews (Rempel); his wife Grace E. Toews (Yeagly); and his siblings, Henry, Cornelius, Jacob Toews and Helen Kenn.
He is survived by: his children, Linda J. Martin (Joseph) of Lititz and Kenneth E. Toews (Vicki) of Forrest, VA; and his sister Annie McIntyre of Landis Homes. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
