He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan E. Harris and Betty Harris (Haubert); and his brothers, Nathan Harris, Butch Fransicias and Jimmy Harris.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Harris of Manheim, April Wade (Michael Sr.) of Manheim and Edgar Harris Jr. (Vaughna) of Mount Joy; and his siblings, Robert Harris, Cindy Elder, Dorothy Kohler and Linda Carter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
