It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Allen of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Shirk and Esther Shirk (Ney); her husband David L. Allen; and her siblings, John Paul, James R., Charles R. "Bob", George R. "Dick" Shirk, Helen Broucht and Jean Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Allen (Kelly) of Mount Joy and Amanda Reed (Jeffrey) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Amara Reed and Jayden Allen; and her sister Pauline Johns (Charles) of Maytown.
