He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly J. Boyd; and his parents, Lawrence Newton and Anna Kieffer Boyd. He is survived by: his sons, C. David Boyd (Wendy D.) and L. Allan Boyd (Gabriele L.); and his grandsons, Andrew D. Vitalo (Christina Macchiarola) and Zachary Boyd.
