It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine (Kitty) Haldy (Mount Joy, Pennsylvania), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 25, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John H. Wein and Barbara Wein (Bleacher); her husband Richard Eckman; her children, James M., Jr. (Janet) of Elverson, Karen Mellinger (Jim) of Lancaster and Peter W. (Carol) of Bryn Mawr; her brother John Wein; and her great-grandparent Kitty. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
