We bid farewell to Barbara M. Royer of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Slick and Zona Slick (Weaver); her son-in-law Brian Ritche; and her brothers, John Stephenson and Bryan Slick.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Royer; her daughters, Amy Ritchie (Brian), Polly Fahnestock (Edward), Amanda Fahnestock (Todd) and Cora Miller (Robert); her grandchildren, Anna Royer, Johnny Balmer (Sara), Bobby Coffey, Brittany Coffey, Kimberly Balmer, Emile Muth (Andrew), Araya Fahnestock, Grace Miller, Keara Fahnestock, James Miller, Trent Fahnestock and Skyelar Fahnestock; and her great grandchildren, Alysse Royer, Lilly Zahm, Rebecca Zahm, Cayden Balmer, Ryder Balmer, Freya Muth, Aminah Coffey and Harper Rose Balmer.
