He is survived by: his parents, Jane A. Hamp (Stott) of Lebanon and Timothy C. Gensamer (Carol) of Tyrone; his wife Joan M. Gensamer (Weidlich); his children, Alexander and Madeline; his siblings, Drew Gensamer of Myerstown and Sarah Funck (Justin) of Lebanon; and his nieces and nephews, Ira, Ellis, Ava, Nevan and Kaitlyn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Adam's name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
