He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shields and Virginia Shields (Martin); and his brother Scott Shields. He is survived by: his daughter Jody Shields-Gibson of Mt. Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Dylan Gibson, Aynslie and Eliza Crozier; and his siblings, Harold "Butch" Shields, Jr. (Mary), Dennis "Denny" Shields (Tammy), Lorrie Simon (Dave) and Kristie Sheriff (Leroy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a SPCA of your choice, as Rodney loved his dogs.
