He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Beecher and Elizabeth Jane Miller Beecher. He is survived by: his wife Anna May Murray Beecher; his son Richard William "Rick" Beecher (Brenda); his stepsons, Allen E. Grace (Terrie) and Shane M. Davis (Susie); his grandchildren, Tiffany N. Warner (Douglas) of Shippensburg, Christina M. Zimmerman (Jason) of Shippensburg and Matthew R. Beecher (Tasha); his stepgrandson Adam Grace; his great grandchildren, Jocelyn of Shippensburg, Jared Warner of Shippensburg, Rylee of Shippensburg, Raelin of Shippensburg, Donovan Zimmerman of Shippensburg, Layke of Newville, Miles of Newville and Brooks Beecher of Newville; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Frengle, Nancy Carole Bailey and Rebecca.
